Mortgages can be complicated. Getting help with one should not be. Whether you are buying your first home, moving to your next one, reviewing a loan you already have or building from scratch, tell me what you want to achieve and I will help you work out the options.

Pick whichever sounds closest to your situation. If none of them quite fit, the last one is for you.
How much deposit you actually need, what you could borrow, and which of the low deposit routes you qualify for. This is the part of the market I specialise in, and there is more help available than most people realise.
Your fixed term is ending, or you are wondering whether another lender would do better. The end of a fixed term is the one moment you can change anything without a break fee, so it is worth a proper look rather than accepting whatever arrives by email.
Moving is a timing problem more than a money problem. Sell first, buy first, or settle both on the same day. Each trades one risk for another, and it is worth deciding deliberately before your house goes on the market.
Construction lending works differently: the money comes out in stages, the lender checks the work along the way, and new builds need a smaller deposit than an existing home. Worth talking to me before you sign a building contract.
Every lender treats low deposits differently, and those rules change. I put your application where it has the best chance rather than wherever is quickest.
Paperwork, lender questions, conditions coming back. I handle the back and forth so you can get on with your life.
The lender pays me once your loan settles. That is the same whether you are buying with 5% or with 20%.
I work with first home buyers in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Pāpāmoa and across the Bay of Plenty, and with plenty of people who live nowhere near me. Most of this happens by phone, email and video call, so where you are does not change the advice or how easy it is to reach me. If you are local and would rather sit down together, that is easy to arrange.
The things people ask me before they know what they need.
No. Plenty of people get in touch saying they are not sure what they need, or that buying a home is only an idea at this stage. Tell me what is happening and we will work out which of these it actually is.
Nothing. My service is free to you, because the lender pays me once your loan settles. If that ever would not be the case, I would tell you before we started, not after.
Your bank can only offer you its own products. It cannot tell you whether another lender would approve you where it will not, or whether a government scheme or shared ownership would suit you better. I compare across most of New Zealand’s lenders.
Yes. Self-employed applications usually need some extra financial information. It does not automatically make a mortgage harder, it just means presenting the right information clearly and choosing a lender whose criteria suit how you earn.
A no from one lender does not mean no everywhere. Lenders assess income, credit history and deposits differently, and a decline often comes down to one thing that can be explained or tidied up. It is worth a conversation before you assume the answer is no.
No. I am based in Pāpāmoa and work across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty, and with clients throughout New Zealand by phone and video call.
